Moir Cabin

This picturesque nature cabin, located at Dry Spruce Bay near Port Bailey, is excellent for hiking, wildlife viewing (eagles, otters, deer), fishing (best with a boat) and safe for kids.

  • Cabin is 24' by 16' with an 8' covered deck
  • Four bunks, but cabin will sleep four more on the floor (bring sleeping bags, etc.)
  • Wood stove w/firewood available

Is nestled in an enchanting spruce tree forest on a bluff overlooking Viekoda Bay. This guest cabin sits amidst a vast wilderness with miles of beaches, lagoons, tidal islands and intriguing rock formations to explore. Trails give access to exceptional high country hiking. The secluded cabin affords visitors an excellent opportunity to view wildlife native to both land and sea.

The Homestead Cabin is a short hike from the Host's year 'round residence.

Ouzinkie Cabins

These cozy cabins are located on Afognak in the top northern area of Kodiak.

Features:

  • All cabins have a loft and sleep 6 people. Foam matresses provided.
  • Oil heater
  • Propane cook stove

Fuel Needs:

  • Cabin renters can purchase heater oil, propane and outboard motor gas from Andrew Airways.
  • Cabin renters can also purchase a spare mantel for the propane light from Andrew Airways.

Cabin Rental Rates:

  • Cabins without a boat rent for $150 per day
  • Cabins with one boat rent for $200 per day; boats are 14' aluminum with
    8-9 hp outboard motors
  • Cabins with two boats rent for $300 per day from the beginning of the second week in August to the end of the first week in September. Otherwise they are $250 per day
